Over the years, these 1965, 1966, 1967 El Camino radiator core support bushing fatigued from gravity and environmental pressures bringing back those annoying squeaks and noise so common in the past. Before 1965, El Caminos used paper shims from the factory to isolate the core support from the frame. These A-Body paper shims, which were the standard till this time, typically wore out quickly leading to squeaks and noise from vibrations. In 1965, El Camino rubber core support bushings were introduced as the standard method to cure this common problem. Replacement of these 1965, 1966, 1967 El Camino radiator core support bushing can be done with minimal mechanical knowledge and basic tools in an afternoon. Our El Camino radiator support bushings are made from high quality, extra firm rubber with the proper steel insert. Our steel inserts are carefully cut to factory specifications which are critical to proper crush during torque application. All new washers and nuts are included to replace the old warped, rusted and stretched units.
