Finally, another choice for tonneau covers!

This tonneau system for your 1968, 1969, 1970, 1971, or 1972 El Camino consists of a full aluminum frame that follows the inside contours of your bed. It is hinged across the front of the bed, and has a high quality vinyl cover that attaches to the frame with two gas struts for easy opening. It is removable, requires very few holes, and doesn't hide your bed moldings. This cover uses no snaps and no velcro. This tonneau cover provided by The El Camino Store includes hidden latch handles, gas struts, square tube bows, pull-down straps. It has a light, strong and durable aluminum frame and easy to follow instructions for assembly and installation so that you're not left scratching your head. Trust The El Camino Store for all of your restoration and replacement needs for your 1968, 1969, 1970, 1971, or 1972 El Camino!

Note: This cover can be used with a bedliner and does not require an expensive truck freight shipment. UPS oversize 2 charges do apply.
Covers have a limited lifetime warranty on the frame and a 3 year warranty on the vinyl.

NOTE: The standard black vinyl cover has been upgraded to a true three-ply, black PVC backing which provides 100% mildew resistance. The end result is a firmer underside that results in less stretching, and less wind flapping. Colors provide a great custom look and use a thick woven white polyester thread on the bottom for strength, but the underside must be maintained per manufacturer's recommendations for cleaning to resist mildew. See the link below. The Canvas is similar to a convertible top. The topside is a cloth texture with vinyl on the underside for water penetration. They each have their advantages and disadvantages. The strongest is the standard black, but the strength makes it a little more difficult during assembly because it doesn't stretch easily. The deepest black and nicest look is the canvas but toughest to keep clean. Color options are not refundable.

Disclaimer: Colors may not show the same on your monitor as all monitors display color slightly differently. If exact color is needed, please obtain a fabric swatch before ordering, as no returns will be allowed due to the color not matching a particular computer monitor.
