Vacuum acuator support slides under air valve frame to align bolt holes. |
Hood screen is seccured to back of hood by 8 Phillips head tapping screws. |
Cowl induction wiring harness for solenoid should be threaded through hood grommet. |
Cowl induction and regular SS hood washer nozzles come with attaching hardware. LH nozzle is located behind screen and should be installed prior to securing screen to hood. |
Wireing harness is taped to plastic retainer. Hose and wire are strapped to bottom side of hood. |
One-way flow valve comes with directional colors. gold towards engine and black towards hood. Original GM on the left and reproduction version on the right. |
Tooling for cowl induction hoods is starting to show. This hood did not have hole for RH nozzle. It will have to be tapped to thread nozzle in place. |
