ORDERING AND SHIPPING INFORMATION
TELEPHONE ORDERS
We welcome your telephone order. Phone us at (888)685-5987 or
(706)546-9217. Please plan ahead by having the part numbers, descriptions,
and quantities you wish to order ready when you place the call.
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, Check by Phone and COD orders
over the phone. Please note that we do not accept COD orders from
first-time customers. Our hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. PST Monday -Friday and 10 a.m to 3 p.m. on Saturdays
BY FAX
FAX orders are easy and can be sent 24 hours a day. Our fax number
is (877)548-8581. Please be sure to print clearly and use our order form
(download PDF version)
whenever possible. Include your phone number in case there is
a question with your order. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American
Express and COD orders via fax. Please note that we do not accept
COD orders from first-time customers.
MAIL ORDERS
To order by mail, please fill out our order form completely.
List quantity, part number, description, and price. Please also provide us with
information on your vehicle: year, model, engine size, and anything else that
will assist us in completing your order. Personal checks, cashier's
checks, and money orders are accepted for payment on mail orders. Orders
paid by personal check do not ship for 7 days. In addition, we accept
Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express and COD orders by mail.

COD ORDERS
The El Camino Store does not accept COD orders for first-time
customers. After you have established a history with us, COD orders are
accepted on most FedEX shipments. Please note, however, that FedEx
does not accept cash. A cashier's check or money order will be
required upon receipt of a COD order. Personal checks will not be accepted.
A $8.00 charge per box will be added to all COD orders.
PRICES
The El Camino Store reserves the right to change prices without notice.
BACKORDERS
With the exception of personal check orders we will ship all
in-stock
items within 48 hours. Occasionally we may be temporarily out
of stock
on some items. Unless you have otherwise requested, we will backorder
any item not in stock. If you request no backorders, we will cancel
items that are not in stock and issue a refund if due. We reserve the
right to cancel backorders after 60 days. If this happens, we will notify
you and issue a full refund if due. All backordered items will be so indicated
on your invoice.

All parts are shipped FedEx with the exception of some oversized

Take the normal FedEx shipping amount for your order value from
the chart above and add any oversize and overweight charges in the appropriate
box on the order form. To figure oversize charges, multiply the
number of oversize items by $12.95 or add overweight fees listed for that
item in the catalog. Be sure to include this amount with your payment.
'Oversize' items are those which are shipped by FedEx at the 30
pound rate. Packages over 30 pounds will be charged by their weight.Not
all oversized items are listed as such in this catalog.We reserve
the right to charge oversize fees to such packages.
NEXT DAY - 2ND DAY - 3 DAY SELECT DELIVERY*
We have three options for express delivery.
- Next Day Air - Delivers your mechandise the following business
day. An average order can be shipped for approximately an additional $24.95.
- 2nd Day Air - Arrives the second business day and on the
average is an additional $15.95.
- 3 Day Select - Delivers your order on the third business
day for an average additional $9.95.
* A few exclusions apply: Only available for in stock merchandise.
Items that need to be shipped by truck freight do not qualify.
Shipment must be pre-paid with a credit card or certified funds
prior to the order being shipped.
IMPORTANT: Rush orders received by 1:00PM EST will be shipped the same day; rush orders received after 1:00PM will ship the following day. Due to weight, freight lines and pricing may
vary. Please phone us for an accurate quote.
TRUCK SHIPMENTS:
Some items in this catalog can only be shipped by truck. We cannot
ship CODs via truck. All shipments requiring motor freight must be
prepaid and will be shipped freight collect. On some items, packing/crating
fees may apply. Please contact us for more information on these items.
IF SOMETHING GOES WRONG...
RETURNS
If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, simply return
it to us within 30 days of purchase in resellable condition. We will replace,
exchange, or refund your money according to your wish. All refunds
are either paid by check or by credit to the credit card on which
the original purchase was made. After 30 days, all returns are subject
to a 20% restocking fee. Literature, stencil kits, electrical parts, and
special order items are not returnable. Should you need to return a part, please
contact our customer service department for a return authorization number
and instructions. The El Camino Store will not accept returned goods
without prior authorization.
SHORTAGES
Please open and inspect your parts immediately when they arrive.
Any missing parts from your order must be reported within 10 days
of the shipping date.
DAMAGE CLAIMS
It is the responsibility of the carrier to deliver merchandise
in good condition. Please inspect all deliveries, when possible, in the presence
of the carrier. If you receive an opened or damaged package, have the
driver write 'damaged' on the delivery sheet. Contact your local FedEx
or truck line so they can send a representative to inspect the damaged
package immediately. That representative will then contact us and we will
take the proper steps to resolve the matter. In all cases of damage, the
parcel must be inspected at the point of delivery to the customer. If
this procedure is not followed, neither the carrier nor The El Camino Store can be
held liable for a claim on the damaged merchandise.
WARRANTY
All products are warranted against defects in material and workmanship
by the original equipment manufacturer or The El Camino Store
for 12 months from the date of shipment. We will replace the product
or refund the purchase price at our discretion. This warranty does not cover
labor, failure of a related component, failure resulting from faulty
installation, nor does the liability of The El Camino Store, exceed the cost of
the original component. The El Camino Store will not be responsible for any
damage or loss caused by delays, failures, or any other consequential
damage arising from any cause whatsoever, nor for the labor, transportation,
or any other charges incurred in the replacement or repair of a defective
item. We shall not be liable for personal or mechanical damage
caused by the use or misuse of products.
REFUSALS
All refused COD orders will be subject to a 20% restocking fee.
The El Camino Store will consider the entire order canceled and void
with NO NOTIFICATION. The customer will be charged 20% plus all freight
charges to and from the destination.
RETURNED CHECKS
Checks returned unpaid will be billed an additional $20 service
charge.
HELPFUL HINTS
Throughout our catalog you will find parts that are for the right
or left side of your El Camino. For our purposes, the RIGHT side is the PASSENGER
side and the LEFT side is the DRIVER side. To help you remember,
just imagine that you are sitting in your car.
