Details: We offer two differential covers for GM 8 1/2-inch and 8 5/8-inch ring gear, 10 bolt applications. The two covers are the same except for the fin pattern. Also, part #11-4482 has a boss for a temperature sensor. Fits 1500, Suburbans, Tahoes and other light weight trucks.
The boss on the side of 11-4482 can optionally be machined for temperature sensor for $35 additional (call to order machining and let us know your sensor thread size).
Note: These differentials have multiple bolt diameters and lengths. Please be sure to specify your vehicle year when you order so we can ship the correct bolts with your part.
Our differential covers feature:
Increased oil capacity for cooler temperatures
Sand-cast aluminum with raised fins
3/16-inch thick wall construction to add strength to differential housing
3/8-inch thick gasket flange will not bend when bolts are tightened
Machined gasket surface for a secure seal using RTV or factory reuseable gasket
Oil changes without removing the cover
All hardware provided, including magnetic drain plug
